2.00-2.45pm Monday 2 December 2024 – Filkin’s Drift | Filkin’s Drift weave together intricate melodies from the folk traditions of their homes, Wales and Gloucestershire. Their music combines the traditional and the contemporary, blending fiddle and guitar with their close vocal harmonies.
2.00-2.45pm Monday 10 February 2025 – Edward Robinson and Rachel Fright | Edward Robinson (baritone) and Rachel Fright (piano) have been performing together for 6 years after meeting while studying at The Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester. They love to perform a varied programme of music from musical theatre to folk songs, opera to pop!
2.00-2.45pm Monday 12 May 2025 – Chroma Harp Duo | Chroma Harp Duo are constantly on a quest for new and exciting sounds. Harpists Lucy and Becki’s eclectic style defies the traditional harp sound and stereotype. They regularly commission new works from composers and incorporate unusual techniques and objects into their performances (from chopsticks to blueback to castanets!)
“A really thoughtful and poignant performance which entertained a range of abilities and increased pupils’ positive well-being for the rest of the day.” Teacher feedback from Musical Mondays SEND schools concert
