As part of The Benedetti Foundation’s Residency Sessions with Devon & Torbay Music Education Hubs, the musicians of the Foundation are offering a FREE professional development twilight CPD on Thursday 8 December for instrumental (string) teachers at Dartington Hall, Totnes TQ9 6EL.

Whether you teach whole class, small group or individuals, the sessions will ultimately aim to build a new sense of community where teachers from all backgrounds come together to inspire and motivate, to engage and share and to learn and develop from some of the greatest educators and teachers.

This training aspires to leave you with new-found excitement and enthusiasm about teaching your instrument, and a chance to forge stronger relationships with those in similar positions.

Workshops will include a selection from: Back to Basics, Skills Progression, Group Teaching, Physical Wellbeing, Engaging Students with Scales and Studies, Mental Health and Performance Anxiety, Lesson Planning, Developing Notation and Early Note Reading, Inquisitive, Meaningful and Purposeful Teaching and more…the session will be designed for you and so we would invite you to include any suggestions of topics you would love to see covered.

This workshop is FREE to attend and has been generously supported by Devon & Torbay Music Education Hubs, Arts Council England National Lottery Project Grants, Norman Family Charitable Trust and the Sampimon Trust.
